Guri Bronner, M.D.

Guri Bronner, MD

Dr. Guri Bronner is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in the surgical and medical treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous. He has a particular interest in macular degenerationdiabetic retinopathy and the management of complex retinal detachments.

He studied at the University of Pennsylvania and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, earning his undergraduate degree in neurophysiology followed by his medical degree (MD) with multiple honors and awards. He then completed a rigorous training program at New Jersey Medical School where he acted as chief resident and was presented with the Shulman Award for Compassion in Medicine. He completed his training in the retina and vitreous surgery at the prestigious Vanderbilt University, where he was honored as the J. Donald M. Gass, MD fellow. During this time, Dr. Bronner authored journal articles and book chapters and was involved in training residents. He came to our practice in 2009 from private practice in New Jersey, where he was involved in numerous clinical trials.

When Dr. Bronner is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
